At Frontline Medics, quality improvement is integral to our core values and corporate culture. We utilize a multifaceted, systematic approach to monitor and improve our overall performance and service delivery. We work in a team based environment, with active collaboration between Executive Management and our Oversight Teams and Project Teams.

We ensure that our healthcare providers are current in all of the required certifications, and participate in a continuing medical education process. Through a comprehensive orientation process and regular employee performance reviews, we build upon individual strengths and areas for improvement. We foster a learning environment that allows our personnel to develop to their fullest potential

We audit our health care facilities on a planned annual basis and through unannounced inspections. These inspections are conducted utilizing a detailed checklist, ensuring that all corporate policies and procedures are being carried out as contractually specified. Upon client request, a final report detailing strengths and areas that require improvement can be provided.

We provide emergency medical equipment that is certified in accordance with government regulations, whether used for land based services, or in the aeromedical evacuation environment. We have access to Biomedical Technicians to regularly inspect and service our medical equipment.

Our utilization management practices ensure that we use resources carefully, allowing us to provide quality services at an affordable cost to our clients.

Our Medical Director regularly conducts patient chart and medical documentation reviews to ensure compliance with accepted, evidence based medical practice. Our policies, procedures, clinical practice guidelines and protocols help ensure consistent delivery of high quality service. We conduct annual reviews of these documents to ensure current levels of knowledge. We liaise closely with jurisdictional Worker Compensation Boards/Commissions, and audit related forms, ensuring all required injured/ sick worker documentation is correctly filed and that follow up reports are submitted correctly and on time.

When things don't go right we find out why promptly, and advise the client. We utilize failure mode effect analysis, root cause analysis, and risk management practices to ensure an appropriate assessment and response to occurrences.

Both Corporate Client and Patient satisfaction is central to our service delivery. At Frontline Medics we judiciously monitor service delivery by utilizing random corporate and patient satisfaction surveys. All results are validated and reported back to our clients. We regularly use other evaluation methodologies to guide our activities and changes to our practices.
